“What made “Back and Forth” so arresting was the implicit belief in the allusive power of movement.  Not a gesture seemed superfluous…These dancers listened to their own breathing as they presented an almost unbroken string of combinations.”
-Allan Ullrich, San Francisco Examiner

“The piece’s telling strength lay less in distinct episodes…than in the way the dancers’ individual phrases remained separate yet successfully inhabited the same universe.  In music it is called harmony.  To accomplish that in a dance…is no small accomplishment.”
-Rita Felciano, San Francisco Bay Guardian

“Roginski and Schaaf have the choreographic chops – a clean movement style, a subtle building of symbolic gesture, a nice balance between the abstract and the dramatic.”
-Rachel Howard, San Francisco Examiner

“You won’t see better-crafted work in a studio setting.”
-ePicks, entertainment tip sheet, San Francisco
